Our market is home to over 40 local vendors, offering the best of the Blue Ridge—seasonal produce, fresh-baked goods, local meats and eggs, nursery plants, handmade crafts, and more. Each vendor brings their passion and expertise, creating a vibrant community marketplace that connects you directly to the people who grow, bake, and create in our region.
Our Location
The Yancey County Farmer’s Market is located at 322 W. Main Street in downtown Burnsville, NC across from Homeplace Brewery. We’re open Saturdays from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Opening day is April 12th, 2025, through the fall season. After a long winter, we’re excited to welcome back our market community—come see us!

The Yancey County Farmer's Market is a producer-only market that has been serving our community for over 30 years. This group of dedicated farmers, artisans, bakers, musicians, and craftsmen have gathered each Saturday to deliver the finest in local produce, plants, farm-related crafts, and local mountain music in picturesque Burnsville, North Carolina. While you are in town, visit any one of our charming shops & restaurants, or catch a show at the theater or playhouse.
